How to use your barcode scanner.
Follow these steps each time you need to reorder from your Plug & Play setup.

Sign in to your Austin Hose account.
Before ordering online, sign in using the Austin Hose mobile app or AustinHose.com from your phone’s web browser. Signing in gives you access to your pricing, order history, invoices, and online ordering.

Connect your Bluetooth scanner.
Attach the scanner to your phone and press the power button. If it does not connect automatically, open your phone’s Bluetooth settings and pair the scanner.

Open Austin Hose on your phone.
Open the Austin Hose app or visit AustinHose.com in your mobile browser. Tap inside the search bar before scanning.

Scan the label on the bin or in your binder.
Press the trigger on the scanner to scan the QR code or barcode label. You can scan the label directly from the bin or from your QR Reference Binder. The part number will automatically appear in the search bar.

Select the item and quantity.
Tap the matching item part number, choose the quantity you need, and add the item to your cart.

Check out when ready.
Repeat the process for any additional items. When you are finished, review your cart and check out like any other online order.

Yes. The binder is designed to give you access to your QR labels in the field, in the office, or anywhere else you need to place an order. You will still need internet access to complete the order online.
