Construction

• Jacket – The seamless single jacket construction combines filament and spun all-polyester yarn for a lightweight fire hose.


• Lining – The smooth lightweight EPDM polymer naturally resists ozone and oxidation.


• Colors – White (untreated) is standard. Red and yellow are available upon request. The smooth lightweight EPDM polymer naturally resists ozone and oxidation.


• Impregnation – Our optional polyurethane coating increases abrasion resistance, greatly increases heat and flame resistance, almost eliminates water pickup and adds superb resistance to petro chemicals while adding resistance to bacterial and mildew growth. Colors available: Yellow and Red.

• Meets and exceeds all performance requirements of NFPA 1961 Standard on Fire Hose and Underwriters Laboratories latest UL-19 edition standards.


• KS6 can be coupled with aluminum or brass threaded couplings. Storz available upon special request.


• KS6 fire hose has a potential service life of ten years, barring mistreatment or accidental damage that would render the hose unfit for service. The manufacturer warrants the hose to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years. This warranty shall provide for the repair or replacement of hose and couplings proven to have failed due to faulty material or workmanship. A lifetime warranty against liner delamination is standard.
